The above image is from a series of paintings done while I was a student for 6 weeks at the Skowhegan School in Maine during the summer of 1974.<\/p>\n

Faceless people,\u00a0 free form,\u00a0\u00a0 endless color.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I loved doing them!<\/p>\n

Recently,\u00a0 a client from Cambridge,\u00a0 MA visited my studio and loved this idea too. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He also noted a watercolor I had hanging on my wall of musicians and dancers by Zygmund Jankowski.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He was drawn to the free-form playfulness of both approaches.<\/p>\n

When I incorporated these ideas together,\u00a0 including other romantic elements he wanted to include,\u00a0 this is what evolved on the canvas,\u00a0 41 years later \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
