My favorite kind of

phone call from Beth Urdang Gallery:

A young couple just purchased 6 of my abstractions series.

So exciting to view the grouping together.

As I paint them, never can I imagine how or where they’ll end up.

But when I learn about multiple purchases like this one, it is so gratifying

to have someone this captivated by what I’m doing, or trying to do.

And of all the hundreds of 8×8 abstractions, my first (#1) just sold.

Enfin!

  1. That is a real treat, to see where your “children” wind up! Not to mention that they are living in a clean, well-lighted space, as the saying goes. (Or I think it goes. . .)

  2. I just love the juxtaposition of the Craftsman style house and your abstract paintings.! It is a great marriage. It totally works. Don’t you just love serendipity!! There seems to be magic to your work and its eventual environment! I just love the size of these works that just pull you in. It is the same with your 30 X30 as well!

    1. Hadn’t thought about the juxtaposition, thanks for pointing it out Rob. Have always loved Craftsman style homes.
We lived in a fabulous one in East Gloucester, MA for 6 years. It was darker inside because of all the gorgeous wood paneling. How I love serendipity!! Just when I think I’ll never sell another painting…along comes a gift like this!
